Born and raised in the great state of Michigan. Hunting and fishing and anything outdoors is in my blood. So grateful to be raised by a family that appreciated and was so thankful of all the amazing things in God’s beautiful creation. I furthered this legacy by receiving a degree in wildlife, and game preserve/shooting management in 2005 at SIC. After I was accepted into an elite internship for OLIN Corp, (Winchester) where I gained experience and so much knowledge in the industry. Shortly following, I went to work for a very wealthy family in Southampton New York. There I managed their private game reserve, set and ran the sporting clays coarse, and oversaw their sport fishing boat fleet. Also overseeing interior/exterior property management. As I progressed  in the hospitality industry, I worked for and managed several other private estates gaining high end culinary skills, and acquiring the proper training and know how in order to execute a 5 star experience for our owners and their guests. In the summer of 2020 I was in a horrible motorcycle accident where I suffered a TBI and was in a coma for weeks. Miraculously I survived with no major repercussions or long lasting bodily harm. Also seeing such growth and excitement in the outdoors lifestyle of my friends and colleagues that I’ve mentored over the last several years in bow hunting, waterfowl hunting, sporting clays and golf really motivated me to make a change. I then realized that I wanted whole heartedly to get back to basics, and turn to my family roots. Thus OBLA was created. It serves as a continuation and culmination of my families heritage and my work experiences over the last 25 years in the hunting, fishing, and hospitality industries. My goal is to deliver the best experience for our clients possible!
